Pilgrimage for Clean Air – Protest Against the Multi Storey Car Park
Saturday, 29 December 2018 10.30am — 12 noon
Details: Meet at St Dunstan’s Church at 10.30, march to the Westgate, go up the High Street, turn left into Mercery Lane, go along Sun and Orange Streets and by the Marlowe, back down the High Street, up St Dunstan’s, turning right into Station Road West. The pilgrimage will finish in this area.
Following the public consultation in July last year (2017) for a proposed multi-storey car park next to Canterbury West Station, and despite enormous public objection and concern, Canterbury City Council have proceeded to submit their proposal to planning.
Canterbury Clean Air has followed up it’s consultation response with a response to this new formal planning application.
The Canterbury City Council planning page for the application CA//17/02915 is accepting public comment until 8th March 2018 so please put your own objections in.

Following a call from Canterbury City Council for public consultation on the proposed development of a multi-storey car park at Station Road West, Canterbury Clean Air created a formal response to the consultation and submitted it for consideration by the relevant authorities.
